[Hyde Park Corner with the Duke of Wellington's Residence] c. 1822
Shows Apsley House as it was originally built by Robert Adam for Henry Bathurst - Baron Apsley. The Duke of Wellington faced it with Bath Stone in 1828-9, adding a giant Corinthian portico and pediment and an extension on the west side.
