Fred Hall

1860 - 1948.
Frederick Hall - painter of landscape and rustic scenes. Studied at Lincoln School of Art and in Antwerp under Verlat. From 1883-98 he was a member of the Newlyn School and he has similarities to style to others there such as Stanhope-Forbes. Exhibited at the RA and elsewhere, and also exhibited in Paris and Venice. Also known for his caricture drawings.
