I was walking by the Wey Navigation Canal the other day, and there, in the happily "unimproved" meadows were some Highland cattle. They looked precisely as I remembered in whose? Victorian painting(s) - as though, like some folly or "ruin", they had been deliberately placed there for effect. Quite splendid, and now I have looked at your site, I can put a name to the picture I had in mind. Thank you.
Nice painting!
