Bristol landscape painter. Born in Ireland and studied in Dublin and with the landscape painter James O'Connor. Lived in Bristol (1813 -1821) and then in London and exhibited at the RA (1821 - 1860). Exhibited some religious and historical works and then after a move to Exmouth he concentrated on mythological subjects.
