Emma Brownlow King

English painter. Although she had no formal training, she began drawing at an early age and exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy (1852-67) and the British Institution, London, and sent works as far as Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow. She painted domestic genre scenes, many based on her travels to Brittany, Switzerland and Belgium in the 1850s and 1860s.

    Hi There,
    Emma Brownlow was my great great great grandmother, do you know anything more about her, I know it is a long shot, I would like to know also where she was buried, kind regards Jacquie
