I was interested to see the reference to Annie Swynnerton who was a friend of Christiana Herringham, an influential patron of the Arts during the late Victorian period and founder member of the Society of Painters in Tempera. Annie Swynnerton painted Christiana's young sons and I often walk past that painting.
