Dorothy Hartley lived in Loughborough, Leicestershire and exhibited her work at
the Nottingham Art Gallery. She may well have been related to Arthur and Noah
Hartley who were working around the same time. She paints in a distinctive art deco
style and possibly worked as a muralist.
