    A foal is a baby horse - if that is what you wondered. Lovely picture but I think I lengthened it somehow.

    I think what Alice meant is that on the title it was spelled as "Fowl".
    This is a very touching mom and baby picture...Love paintings of animals, especially something this beautiful.
