One gets the feeling that going to the market was a fun day out, not just a tiresome job that had to be done as quickly as possible.
I still love markets. My father often took me to Petticoat Lane as a child. I can still taste the Jewish bagels.
Market are quite chaotic places, as we can see from the picture above. I don't like them at all. I like the picture though. And I agree with Lucy Corrander that it would be a great jigsaw puzzle.
