Hi, I have a painting of Old Houses, Warwickshire, which I have loved for many years. It belonged to my Fathers great aunt Janey Hargreaves who lived in Farnworth,Bolton, Lancs. She died over 35 years ago, and I was given the painting.I was told the story that it was painted by a friend of the family, I don't know whether this was true or not, anyway I thought I would look up this Sidney P. Winder and find out a little bit more about the painting.

    Thank you.

    Barbara Aldous
    (nee Hargreaves)

  2. I can't find out anything about this artist. They come up for auction occasionally and sell for peanuts, which is far below their skill level. You actually know more than me, as I've never found any biography or list of his works.
