Well done. In a huge story like the Titanic, it is always easier to concentrate on First Class, on the rich and famous and powerful. Yet far more families were ordinary people who just wanted a better life for their children.
Just what I thought - bet more of the 1st escaped though!
Of course.First Class passengers, survival rate 63%Second Class passengers, survival rate 43%Third Class Steerage passengers, survival rate 25%. Of course within each class of passengers, far more women survived than men.
