Influenced by Frith. Shows the middle classes at play. Littlehampton's station was opened in 1864 with a direct link to London. Many details are interesting - the Lighthouse (replaced in the 1950's) and the old windmill (now the Windmill Centre). Noptice the bathing machines and the towels drying.
