I need to look for the story about this picture. They are in a graveyard, she is morning, and the young man has just returned from a trip according to his sack. It looks as though she has run to the young man's side for she has cast her hat along side his sack indicating she came along quickly. Did his father die while the young man was away at sea on duty? Or was the father away at sea and he passed so the two are both morning together for the return and death of the man who died? I'm just thinking out loud Hermes--you know me...very chatty.

I found it:). That is his sister and he returned home from sea duty. One of their parents passed away and it is the death of the parent they are morning.
