Scottish landscape painter. Born in Blairgowrie and lived there until he came to Edinburgh about 1872.Began exhibiting in1868 at the R.S.A.Had a studio at Lands End.His paintings in both oil and watercolour are of Borders, Perthshire and Dutch content.
