I think this is a painting of the opening of the Marine Drive around the Great Orme, Llandudno.
It may be either a view of the West Shore Toll Gate end, see bunting in painting. Alternatively it is mid point of the Marine Drive where the road adjoins from St Tudno's church with the Marine Drive. Gareth Griffiths, lived Llandudno 1963-1974.
