When on a business trip to New Orleans with my husband I spend some time browsing through the wonderful antique stores there. One of the sales people took me to a back room, were they had one of Godward's beauties for sale. I wish I had a bag of gold with me that day! :)
They are a little 'artificial' for me (he says with a huge Alma-Tadema reproduction on my wall!) but wonderfully drawn and coloured. We have all been there Enzie - thi gs we wish we had bought at the time.
