Oliver Clare - Plums, grapes, a peach and gooseberries on a mossy bank

signed 'OLIVER CLARE' (lower right)

Oliver, together with his father George and his brother Vincent were a Birmingham family of fruit and flower painters, whose work was usually painted on a small scale in the style of William Henry Hunt.
