Was the woman with the baby getting a drink, like a normal customer? Or was she trying to save the men from the Evil Drink? I am guessing the latter.
No idea Helen, but you may well be right. As a non-drinker I'm probably not the best to comment.
I think she was simply giving some water to the baby.
