since about Victorian times (roughly 1837 on)
A couple of years ago I loved reading North's history and seeing her paintings. And I am very glad her works were well hung and visited at Kew Gardens. But I didn't think about the relationship between North's specially built house and the other elements at Kew. So many thanks for the linkHelshttp://melbourneblogger.blogspot.com/2009/12/amazing-botanical-artist-i-marianne.html
I saw her gallery a few years ago and was very impressed. In my early 20's I spent a lot of time at Kew in the Herbarium and just looking round. Miss that. Its fantastic that places like Kew exist.
