I think these paintings look like photographs. They look so pure. He sure has his women staring right in to the face of the viewer in some of them. He was very proud of his face painting abilities wasn't he? lol

And I love the Young Gardener. My grandson has no interest in gardens yet, but I hope I can pass on some of my love of them to him. I'll have to include aliens somewhere and a hand controller (lol). (He is 9 by the way)
I wish you lived close by. I would soak up everything you could teach me. I don't have a mentor. My Great Aunt taught me all she could--but I was young like your grandson and wasn't listening very well. If your grandson doesn't take you up on your offer..he's be sorry when he gets to my age. He's fortunate.

Thank you Anna. But we all do the same. My Grandfather passed on to me his love of gardening but I doubt if I listened much when he tried to teach me. Though he did teach me chess (and a fear of ear wigs!)
