Portraits, figures and landscape painter. Studied at the RCA and exhibited at the RA. Lived in Chelsea and later at Blewbury, Berkshire. Born in Taunton, Somerset.

Charles Ward's allegory of Spring was exhibited at the 1905 Royal Academy. His source for this painting seems to have been the Roman writer Virgil's pastoral poem, The Georgics.

I have an antique print/painting of The Progress of Spring that was signed Chas O Ward 1905. I am curious of what this would appraise at? is this a potentially valuable piece?
