Alfred Vickers

Landscape painter, self-taught. Exhibited at the RA (125 works) and elsewhere. Painted viws often with river scenes in a rapid, sketchy style using a range of pale greens which are distinctive. His son Alfred Gomersal Vickers was also a painter.
