Getty Museum Announces Nearly 500 Donations to Photographs and Paintings Collections
[Abraham Solomon (British, 1824-1862), Not Guilty, 1859. Oil on canvas. Unframed: 63.5 X 88.9. 2008.79.2 Partial and Promised Gift of Barbara and Norman S. Namerow, The J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles]
This painting, Not Guilty, is super. When I was discussing the Solomon siblings (http://melbourneblogger.blogspot.com/2008/12/rebecca-solomon-artist.html), I considered putting in its pair, Waiting for the Verdict.
Later I found a very interesting discussion (by lawyers, not art historians) in the Not PC blog (http://pc.blogspot.com/2008/08/for-verdict-abraham-solomon.html)

Thank you, I try to feature the Solomon's when I can as I don't think they are as well known as their talent deserves. Thanks for the links.
