Orchardson collected musical instruments and furniture and this shows a cabinet pianofiorte which was owned by him and is now in the V & A Museum. It was made by Van Der Hoef of Amsterdam c. 1810.

What an exquisite instrument. I've never seen anything like it. A cabinet pianoforte is new to me.
And to me though they seem to have been fairly common in the Regency period. It would need a Big room by the look of it.
