George Lawrence Bulleid

1858 - 1933.
Born in Glastonbury in Somerset, the son of a local Solicitor, he painted in oils and watercolours (this is a watercolour) and began exhibiting in 1888, continuing to exhibit till the year of his death. He specialised in figures, still lifes and mythological subjects. He is known to have exhibited 226 pictures, 14 of them at the RA.

Breath taking beautiful! I am thinking of doing a series of paintings that are soft as this, so this comes as a good inspirational piece!
