Well, I don't know about the art treasures but have a look at that splendid exhibition hall! Did it survive?

It was only a temporary structure, but thanks for making me look further as they were other similar exhibitions in Dublin and Folkestone, all of which were designed to bring ART to the people. On Manchester there is fascinating material here:
