since about Victorian times (roughly 1837 on)+ photographs
this is simply gorgeous. i don't like cows very much..had to work around them, but seeing this "free" one is nice in colours and composition. and i like the softness here.
I thought it was a watercolour at first, that is a very soft look for oils.
