Although I have driven past this building thousands of times, it was only in the last couple of years that I became aware of its connection to art history here.

I was looking for Arts and Crafts architecture in Victoria and didn't know what to make of the local bluestone (typical early building material here), with romanesque arches and Italian Renaissance arcades. The portholes in the triangles were even more of a surprise.

Great building in a great location.

Its a fantastic piece of architecture - would inspire me I'm sure. If you ever come across any interior shots.
