Kate Hayllar - Sunflowers and Hollyhocks

Kate gave up painting about 1900 to become a nurse.

I saw this painting in the Guildhall Art Gallery's Age of Elegance exhibiton and was entranced by it. I can't believe it's a watercolour. There's definitely scope for a biography about the Hayllar family...
